Our youngsters have also been busy recently, catching up on their backlog of fixtures. Gavin and Junior's Under 18s have played four games in the Kent Youth League Central Division, including a 'double-header' against Orpington which yielded one win and one loss. They also defeated Crockenhill to progress in the John Ullmann Cup. Ian Neal's Under 18s beat Long Lane 3-0 on 21^st March in the KYL North Division, but suffered their first defeat since last November last Sunday when they went down 1-2 to Thamesmead Town in another League game. The following evening, Ian's side travelled to meet the youth team of Blue Square National outfit Hayes & Yeading United and on a night when nothing went right for them our lads lost 0-9.
