THIS AFTERNOON'S MATCH PREVIEW - CORINTHIAN-CASUALS (AWAY) KO 3.00 PM

05.04.10

Hurrah! A win! A win that was indeed coated with a glowing gloss of dominance, as Dulwich eased their way past a disjointed and ineffective Merstham side, thanks to goals from Justin Bowen and Sol Pinnock. So leaving the resurrected battlements of Champion Hill, Dulwich will wander to Tolworth, where Corinthian Casuals await Gavin Rose's men.

It's been a fairly comfortable season for the amateur outfit, who currently sit in 13th place, 5 points and 3 places ahead of the Hamlet, with 15 league wins accredited to their name. The Casuals don't appear to be particularly casual on home turf: on the contrary, 5 wins in their last 8 home league games is an uncomfortable sight for any person with Hamlet interests.

Luckily, it would appear that former Dulwich midfielder Tyrone Myton is suspended for the encounter, as is New Zealand goalkeeper Luke Naughton, meaning two of their most experienced players will sit the match out. Despite these suspensions however, Brian Adamson still has an impressive array of players at his disposal, ex-Tooting & Mitcham centre half Matt Kidson accompanies Wayne Finnie at the back, the latter once a Hamlet transfer target many seasons ago. Danny Green, previously at Chelsea provides significant firepower for the Chocolate 'n' Pinks, along with the much-travelled David Ocquaye. Jason Turley and Carlton Murray-Price make up the ex-Dulwich legion at King George's Field.

The last exchange between these two ended in tears for The Hamlet. Carlton Murray-Price came back to haunt his former club by netting the contest's only goal in the 74th minute to plunder all three points for his side.

After his unanticipated success against Merstham, Justin Bowen is likely to be shoe-horned into the striker role again, due to his flawless performance up front. The midfield trio of Ellis Wilson-Joseph, Alim Sesay and Gerry Gonnella are likely to continue in the middle after they brutally bossed the 90 minutes in the weekend's encounter. Having made his debut late on, Carl Konadu is expected to be included in the squad again, as is fellow youth teamer Callum Roberts.
