YOUTH TEAM CLINCH CUP FINAL SPOT

12.04.10

Dulwich Hamlet Under 18's, managed by Gavin Rose and playing in the Central Division of the Kent Youth League, reached the final of the Onetwenty2 Challenge Cup (the Kent Youth League Cup) with a resounding victory away to Orpington yesterday. Nyren Clunis followed up his goal against Horsham YMCA for the First Team with two more but the goalscoring honours went to Roy Odiaka who returned to form after a fallow spell of late bagging four goals as Dulwich ran out 6-2 victors.

Opposition in the final will be Central Division rivals Chatham Town who travelled to Dover Athletic, emerged victorious by three goals to nil. Chatham have suffered worst at the hands of the weather with 15 games still to play. Though they have dropped just two points in league action they have yet to cross swords with Dulwich's Central team though they did put Ian Neal's North Division side out of the league cup 4-2 back in October.

The final of the competition is scheduled to take place at Lordswood FC on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May with an 11.00 am kick-off. This should be confirmed shortly.
