Justin Bowen

Defender

A strong and experienced central defender, aged 31, who returned towards the end of November 2009 after a spell out of the game through injury. He first joined Dulwich Hamlet in the summer of 2002 from Bishop's Stortford and made his 100^th appearance for the club towards the end of last season.

He began his career at West Ham United where he was part of a Youth Team had included the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard, Junior, reaching the FA Youth Final in 1996 only to run into a young Scouse striker by the name of Michael Owen!

Other previous clubs include Wealdstone, Bromley, Carshalton Athletic, Tooting and Mitcham and the Metropolitan Police.

In the closing weeks of last season he filled in successfully as a target man up front.
