REPORT | Dulwich Hamlet vs Chichester City | 25/01/25

Lloyd Rowlatt’s injury-time winner saw in form Chichester leave Champion Hill with all three points and consign The Hamlet to defeat in Bradley Quinton’s first home game in the dugout.
Deep into stoppage time substitute Rowlatt pounced on a loose ball and rifled an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net. The win lifts Chichester up to sixth and leaves Dulwich just two points outside of the relegation zone. “I was pleased with the togetherness and work ethic,” said Quinton. “But to concede a goal in the 98th minute it’s a killer.”
A capacity crowd of 3,334 were treated to a game of two halves. After a goalless first half, during which each side only managed to muster a single effort on target, those late back from the bar would’ve missed two goals
In the 47th minute, a simple ball over the top from Rob Hutchings freed Jimmy Wild. The league’s top scorer muscled his way into the box and finished smartly, firing across the goal and into the bottom corner, to take his tally to 20 for the season.
They’d barely finished celebrating by the time Dulwich equalised, with George Porter tapping home debutant Aaron Williams-Bushell’s pinpoint cross in the 49th minute. The right-back had an impressive debut.
Neither manager would’ve been happy with the defending for the goals, and although the away side dominated the rest of the second half, dogged Dulwich defending looked to have earned us a point until Rowlatt’s late strike.
