Pat Nevin in Conversation: Football and How to Survive It
We are delighted to welcome the great Pat Nevin to Champion Hill for a revealing and entertaining night of conversation, as he shares stories and reflections from his 40 years in the game.
Pat has done almost every job in football. From being a star player at Chelsea and Everton to being chairman of the PFA, the players union, to playing for Scotland under Sir Alex Ferguson - and even a spell in the unique role of player-chief executive. He is now – you’ll know - a familiar voice on BBC 5 Live's coverage of the Premier League.
Right from the start of his career, Pat has been known as one of the most articulate, literate and progressive voices in football, a music fan as likely to be found DJing at club nights or actively taking on terrace racists as appearing as a pundit in the media.
Pat will be in conversation with journalist Duncan Steer. There will be a chance to ask your own questions.
Tickets are £15 or £12 concessions. Early Bird special offer: the first 20 tickets are priced at £10.
