Good afternoon, everyone and welcome home to Champion Hill. We’re about to have a run of home games here in south London and we’re going to need each and every one of you behind us if we’re to pick up points and stay in the hunt for promotion.

The entire playing squad would like to thank all those who have followed us to Bowers, Chichester and Dartford. Forgetting the result in Essex I’m pleased with how the team have competed and coming away with our first 2 clean sheets of the season.

In both games we’ve really had to dig deep and push through. Chichester, we did enough to win the game, and I don’t think Jameson had to make a major save. Dartford was different. There were times where we were pinned back and had to defend deep as a team. Jameson has come in and done incredibly well for us and pulled off a number of saves to keep us in the game. In the 2nd half all it took was a moment of magic to win us the game. We know how you our fans enjoy a cup run and we’ll be doing everything to have a decent run in the FA Trophy this season!

We’re about to enter our most important stage of the season. October and November you’ll start to get s real insight into how the table might look come the end of April. With 6 home games over the course of the next 7 Saturdays. This is the best opportunity we will have this season to put a run together and really kickstart our campaign. We’ve been going about our business quietly so far and now is the chance for us to get a real grip on this league.

We’re looking at our first sell-out crowd of the season today. Your support is key to our success. We’ll need you at all of our upcoming games without you this footballing institution is nothing.
