MATCH PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Carshalton Athletic | Boxing Day
PLEASE NOTE: Online tickets for this game have now sold out. There will be a limited amount of tickets on the gates so please arrive at opening time (12.15pm)
The Hamlet return to Champion Hill for the final time in 2024 with a must needed victory in their sites.
The Hamlet suffered another setback on Saturday when they lost 4-2 to title chasing Cray Valley (PM). Luke Wanadio scored the opener before Cray switched it on and sailed to a 3-1 lead. Jerome Binnom-Williams scored a lovely free kick just before half-time but it would be Cray who would seal victory in the 2nd half.
Louis Ramsay went off with another knock on Saturday and looks like he could miss out on Boxing Day. Ross Marshall looks like he could be back in contention after missing out due to another injury set back. Ryley Scott has suffered a set back and now looks like a return in the new year is more likely for the midfielder.
New signing Emmanuel Robe made his debut on Saturday having signed from Chipstead. The attacker has also featured in the Canadian Premier League before moving back to the UK.
The Hamlet are still in play-off contention despite a horrid run of form towards the end of 2024. Just 6 points off of the play-offs a change in form over Christmas could help catapult them up the table.
The Hamlet will be searching for their first win in the league since our 3-1 victory over Potters Bar on Remembrance Weekend.
Boxing Day kicks off the start of 4 games in 9 days as we face visits to Whitehawk and Cray Wanderers before returning to SE22 on Saturday 4th January when we host Bognor Regis. Tickets for that game are available here.
