MATCH PREVIEW | Hastings United vs Dulwich Hamlet | Isthmian League | 15/02/25

The Hamlet men are heading to Sussex tomorrow afternoon still in search of their first away win since September when we defeated Canvey Island.

They'll be boosted by 3 successive wins against Sutton Common Rovers, Bowers & Pitsea and Folkestone Invicta. Amaru Kaunda scored his first Hamlet goal on Tuesday night as the Cambridge United loanee fired us ahead in the first half before veteran striker Danny Mills bagged his 2nd goal in 3 game with a well taken finish after just under an hour.

With that win against Folkestone Bradley Quinton and his side moved 6 points clear of the drop and leap frogged fellow strugglers Canvey Island and Whitehawk.

Hastings United are badly in need of a victory on Saturday. They currently find themselves 11 points from safety but do have games in hand on those around them. Their match on Tuesday night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch on Tuesday night.

Our hosts last victory came on December 28th when they defeated Bognor Regis Town 1-0. Since that match they've lost 7 on the bounce, conceding 13 and scoring 5. Hastings are currently managed by former Aldershot Town and Ebbsfleet United manager Danny Searle following the departure of Danny Bloor earlier this season.

When these 2 sides met earlier in the season it was the Hamlet who came out on top as Luke Wanadio bagged a brace before Danny Mills secured victory in the final moments as we sailed away with a 3-0 victory.

SQUAD NEWS:

It's a similar story to Tuesday night although we do now have some potential return dates for our current batch of injured players. Jerome Binnom-Williams, Louis Ramsay and Ralfi Hand all look set to return to action on Saturday 1st of March when we host Lewes.
