PREVIEW | Bowers & Pitsea vs Dulwich Hamlet

We head to Essex for the 2nd time this month to take on a Bowers & Pitsea side boosted by their first league win of the season last weekend.

Whilst Dulwich Hamlet comfortably swept promotion rivals Horsham aside last weekend in front of over 2900 at Champion Hill. Bottom of the table side Bowers & Pitsea were taking on a Dartford side who seem to have adapted well to life in the third tier.

The visitors would take a 2-0 lead against the north Kent side before conceding a goal in added time at the end of the 2nd half but did enough to hold on to secure their 1st 3 points of the season.

On Tuesday night they took on table toppers Lewes and fell to a 2-0 defeat to the side from Sussex conceding 2 goals in the 1st half without reply.

Bowers bounced straight back from relegation last season when they were promoted back to tier 3 at the 1st time of asking thanks to victory in the Isthmian League North play-off final.

The Hamlet head to Essex on the back of 3 wins from 3 in the league with victories over Cray Wanderers Canvey Island and Horsham. Luke Wanadio bagged his 7th and 8th goals of the season in the victory over Horsham while Louis Ramsay got his 1st goal in Pink & Blue (he's claiming) after Danny Mills put us 2 up with goals from his feet.

It's a busy week for the south Londoners with a visit to Chichester City on Tuesday night before we begin our FA Trophy campaign against Dartford at Princes Park next Saturday.

The Hamlet will be without Dillon Barnes as he recovers from an injury he's been playing with over the past couple of weeks. Meanwhile Sam German is also unlikely to feature with Ross Marshall also out injured but now looking at a potential October/November return.

Jameson Horlick is likely to make his 1st start for the club having signed on loan from Luton Town, you can find out more about our newest recruit here.

Can't join us in Essex? Kian Ward will have live radio coverage from around 14:55 and you can join him by clicking here.

We return to Champion Hill on Saturday 12th October as we host Hastings United. Tickets for that game are on sale now and you can get yours by clicking here.
