PREVIEW | Lewes vs Dulwich Hamlet

PREVIEW | Lewes vs Dulwich Hamlet

We're back on the road and heading to Sussex on Tuesday night as we take on Lewes FC at the Dripping Pan.

The Hamlet will look to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Dover Athletic on Saturday afternoon. The Hamlet took an early lead thanks to an own goal before the league leaders pilled on the pressure and ran off as comfortable 4-1 winners.

The Hamlet will be without defender Sam German who picked up a knock towards the end of the 1st half against Dover, Ross Marshall is also a doubt having also been forced off with injury. Ryley Scott looks set to return on Saturday when we visit Dartford.

Max Hudson and Louis Ramsay look set to get their first minutes since recovering from their injuries.

Lewes were leading 2-0 against Cray Valley (PM) on Saturday afternoon before the game was abandoned in the 77th minute following an injury to Marcel McIntosh. Everyone at the Hamlet would like to wish Marcel the best in his recovery.

In their last outing at the Dripping Pan Lewes secured a 2-1 victory over Canvey Island. Danny Bassett and Gianluca Botti the scorers as they finished November on a high.

The Hamlet are in the middle of a 3 game week before we head to Dartford on Saturday afternoon in desperate need to turn our away form around.

Last season the Hamlet returned from Sussex with all 3 points courtesy of goals from Ryley Scott and Luke Wanadio. In the return fixture at Champion Hill the Hamlet again won 2-0 with first half goals from Luke Wanadio and veteran striker Danny Mills.

Next at the Hill:

We return to Champion Hill on Saturday 21st December as we host Cray Valley (PM) you can get your tickets for that game here.
