Trialist Momodou Jallow Signs Deal To Stay
With the start of the season upon us, the Hamlet have added another youth prospect to their squad by signing full-back Momodou Jallow.
The 20-year-old appeared in six of our pre-season friendlies playing at left-back, and has left Hakan Hayrettin suitably impressed with his displays.
Momodou's first senior club was Boreham Wood, coming through the academy there and would find himself in and around the first team during the 2020-21 season, making his league debut as an 83rd-minute substitute in a 5-1 win over King's Lynn Town in May 2021, joining Hamlet captain Mark Ricketts on the field. He would play two further times in the league that season.
In 2021-22, Momodou spent loan spells away from The Wood, appearing for Chalfont St Peter and Hendon during that season, before leaving Meadow Park for Tooting & Mitcham United last summer.
He would make 13 appearances for the Terrors in the opening weeks of last season, before injury ruled him for a spell, arriving at the Hamlet as a trialist at the start of the summer.
