WOMEN'S TEAM NEWS

MATCH PREVIEW | Actonians vs Dulwich Hamlet | FAWNL | 02/02/25

MATCH PREVIEW | Actonians vs Dulwich Hamlet | FAWNL | 02/02/25

The Hamlet women hit the road for the 3rd weekend in a row as they head to take on title challengers Actonians this Sunday.

The hosts currently find themselves 4 points off of table toppers Real Bedford but will be looking to close the gap on them with a victory over the Hamlet on Sunday.

Dulwich, however, will be looking to recapture the form that saw them defeat London Bees in the Capital Women's Cup 2 weeks ago. Last weekend they faced their longest away game of the campaign as they headed to Norfolk to take on Norwich City. The Hamlet returned empty handed suffering a 4-0 defeat at the home of the canaries.

Last weekend Actonians defeated Ascot Ladies in the county cup. In their last league game they came from behind to secure a point at home to AFC Sudbury. After that they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Fulham in the Capital Women's Cup.

When these 2 sides met earlier this season it was the Hamlet who came out with all 3 points thanks to goals from Jodie Lodge and Tash Stephens putting an end to Actonians undefeated start to the season.

Injury news:

Saskia Reeves-Priestley made her long awaited return to action on Sunday in the defeat to Norwich City. Tash Stephens is looking to return in the coming weeks.

Eleanor Hutchings has signed on dual registration with L&SERWFL side Ebbsfleet United in search of more game time.
