PREVIEW | Dulwich Hamlet vs Dorking Wanderers
As the title race reaches boiling point, Dulwich Hamlet take on Dorking FC in the league in the penultimate home game of the season, whilst elsewhere our two title rivals, Fulham FC and Dartford FC play each other at Craven Cottage. A win for Fulham could strengthen our title chances even further.
Dorking, formed in 2020, joined our league this season after winning promotion in the London and South East Women's League Division 1 North and in the same season retained the Capital Women’s Cup for a second season in a row and currently sit sixth place in the league.
They became the first-ever women’s grassroots football team to take part in BBC Three’s Squad Goals: Dorking Til I Die. The 6 part – docu-series following the Wanderers throughout their 2021/22 season which was aired in October 2022.
They have had mixed results recently, losing their last two games to Fulham and Ebbsfleet United but took all three points from their game against Enfield in February.
Dulwich will be fired up for this after beating them 2-0 at Meadowbank early in the season and this is a must win game in the promotion push so we would love to see you at Champion Hill to cheer the team on and we would love to see another attendance of over 650 plus plenty of dogs.
We will be opening an additional outside bar tomorrow to reduce queues in the main club house and our usual food options will be available.
We will have full live commentary of the game which you will be able to listen to here or you can follow our Twitter coverage here.
