SUPPORTERS' GUIDE | Norwich City | The Nest | 26/01/25

It's the Hamlet women's first FAWNL game of 2025, here is everything you need to know as we head to take on Norwich City this Sunday.

What kit are we wearing?

We'll once again put on our Altona inspired red & white away kit for our trip to Norfolk.

Ticketing information:

Tickets are available online direct from the Norwich City website here.

Prices are as follows:

Adults: £6

65+ & U18: £3

U12: £1

How do you get there?

The ground address is:

The Nest, Holt Road, Horsford, Norwich, NR10 3AQ

As provided by the Norwich City FC website:

Cars - please park in the bays provided, in car parks 1 or 2 at the facility

A bus route, known as Canary Konect, has been launched to create a direct link between The Nest and Carrow Road stadium. The service will run hourly, seven days a week. For a full timetable, visit the Konect Bus website here.

Train and bus:

There are no direct trains to Norwich this weekend due to engineering works so the only way to travel via train is from London Liverpool Street.

The Greater Anglia website recommends going via Cambridge North and changing there to get a train up to Norwich. You can also pick this train up from Tottenham Hale for those who might find it easier traveling on the Victoria Line.

From Norwich Station there is a 35 bus that can take you directly to The Nest with the last bus before kick off being 12.53 from just to the right of the station. There are no longer return tickets in Norwich but you can get a single for £3 or a day pass for £6.50

Alternatively there is a taxi rank a few minutes walk down Prince of Wales Road as you come out of the station with a number of 5 seaters and minibuses available. The average journey time is 15 minutes

What pubs are nearby?

As most of our supporters' will be travelling into Norwich before heading out to The Nest, we asked Hamlet supporter Tom Corcoran who is currently studying in the city to provide us all the information on pubs.

Norwich is home to 365 pubs and some with a lot of history. The nearest pub to the station is the Compleat Angler which is run by Green King. It has 4 ale pumps and a number of standard beers and spirits. CAMRA members also get 10% off too.

If you continue walking down Prince of Wales Road into the city you'll get to Pogue Mahon's, an Irish pub which has a warm atmosphere similar to the Blythe with Guinness and their own in house stout too.

In the city centre there are a number of pubs with the pick of the bunch being The Murderers Arms, which won the best pub to watch football in the UK award last October.

For those wanting real ale, the King's Head in Anglia Square, roughly a 15 minute walk from the station has a large range of real ales and has been highly recommend by locals. You can also pick up the 35 from outside the pub

There are also a number of other pubs and bars along the walk to the King's Head in the Tombland area near Norwich Cathedral.

Can we bring flags?

We haven't found any restrictions in relation to flags, bring as many as you can and lets make sure we're seen as well as heard!

Can't join us in Norfolk?

Sadly we have no radio commentary available on Sunday. However, you can get live text updates via our match centre here.
