Since it’s inception in 2019, the Hamlet Comedy Club has brought some of the biggest acts in comedy to the Football Club including names such as Mark Steel, Jo Brand, Sara Pascoe, Nish Kumar and Mark Thomas.

Starting in the downstairs bar with an audience of about 40, the night soon began selling out as soon as the tickets were released and in March 2025, the night was moved to the new much bigger top floor bar and they are now selling that out after building a loyal following.

In that time many people who have come down to the club for the comedy, have ended up watching the football on the pitch on a Saturday (including some of the acts!)

Last Thursday Hamlet Comedy founder and Dulwich Hamlet fan, Matt Arnold was awarded Club Volunteer of the Year which was presented by Chairman Ben Clasper at the end of the show.

We would like to thank Matt for creating a great night and helping raise the profile of the club within and outside football.
