Hello everyone,  

Welcome back again to Champion Hill as we return to Isthmian League action against Brentwood Town this afternoon.  

I'll begin by looking back on our FA Cup victory, of course for most of this group it was important to put in a display, especially after our exit in the competition last season. It was our first win in the competition in 4 years, and we want to make sure we deliver well in that competition this season.  

We’ve started to hit our stride at home, and our home form is going to be incredibly important. We’re confident when we step out at Champion Hill and I hope we can keep on putting in the performances that bring you back week after week.  

This weekend is a different challenge; Brentwood Town were play-off finalists' last season and might not have started as well as they wanted to this season.  

We put in a great performance at their ground last season, and we’ll be looking to replicate that performance today.  

They’ll want to really kick on now and we’ve got to do everything we can to make sure we come out victorious heading back into the FA Cup next weekend.  

The next few weeks is very cup heavy and it’s something we’re all looking forward too. Cup football is some of the most exciting stuff around, but our focus today is on the Isthmian League and how we can go about a business to make sure we collect 3 points today.
