Good afternoon, everybody and a warm welcome back to the Hill.  

I’d like to start by welcoming the new faces we have in the squad to our home, everyone will tell you what a special place this is to play football when the Pepper Army are behind you nothing can stop you.  

I hope you enjoy playing in our unique corner of South London this season.  

On a personal note, if I feature today, it will be my 100th appearance for our football club. I’d like to thank you all for helping me reach this achievement. We’ve made quite a few memories over the last 99 games. From FA Cup runs, to winning league titles and partying on Promotion Roundabout. There is nowhere else I’d wanted to have reached 100 appearances for than the Hamlet. I hope on my 100th appearance we can pick up our first 3 points of the season.  

 Our first home game brings a great sense of excitement, the FAWNL this year looks to be as competitive as ever, with old rivalries reigniting and new challenges to take on I look forward to leading this side and seeing what we can accomplish this season together.  

After the point at Dartford last weekend, I know how much we as a team want to put on a performance for you here at Home and secure all 3 points.  

Every game will bring challenges and it’s up to us to meet them and do everything we can for this football club.  

It’s going to be another memorable 9 months, and I look forward to sharing those moments with you.
