REPORT | Dulwich Hamlet vs Bognor Regis Town

A crisp Champion Hill was the setting as Dulwich Hamlet faced bottom of the table Bognor Regis. Both teams were aiming to get back to winning ways after a run of poor results.
Hamlet couldn’t have asked for a better start as Lorenzo found some space down the right side and lashed the ball across the box. The chance fell to Luke Wanadio and, with his first touch of the game, he put Hamlet in the lead.
In the 21st minute centre back Amadou Jallow received his second yellow card of the match. Both times he was caught on the wrong side of the attacker and brought them down on the counter, leading to his dismissal.
Against the run of play Bognor found themselves level as Lewis Beale was played through and slotted home.
Hamlet found themselves back in the lead as a quick fire Ralfi Hand double had the score at 3-1 after two extremely smart finishes.
In the 67th minute Bognor had a lifeline after a corner which was dropped by Barnes and Tommy-Lee Higgs poked the ball in. With two minutes to play Bognor were level with a brilliant strike curling into the bottom right corner from Jasper Mather.
Bognor weren’t done there as they managed to snatch all three points from nowhere. In the 91st minute Tommy-Lee Higgs smashed the ball into the top left corner to leave everyone in south London stunned.
