REPORT | Whitehawk vs Dulwich Hamlet

10 man Whitehawk come from behind to defeat Hamlet.
The Hamlet headed to relegation threatened Whitehawk on the Saturday between Christmas and New Years Day in search of a first 3 points away from Champion Hill since September.
It took just 6 minutes for the Hamlet to go close in the first half shooting down the hill. Max Hudson unleashed a strike from the left hand side that went just wide of the post.
Just short of the 15 minute mark and Danny Mills would almost come back to haunt his former side once more Anthony Jeffrey drove down the right hand side and squared it to Mills who fired over the bar.
Mills would go close again moments later as AJ picked him out once more but Mills fired his shot into the stands again.
That would be the last major involvement of the game from AJ as he pulled up with what looked like a Hamstring issue.
As the half-time whistle approached the Hamlet would receive a golden chance to take the lead as Sean Bonnett-Johnson broke through on goal before being taken down by the scrambling Whitehawk keeper in the penalty area. The Hamlet got a penalty and the keeper saw red.
Luke Wanadio stepped up and despite the outfielder who picked up the gloves getting a strong hand to it the Hamlet would find themselves deservedly ahead.
Six minutes into the 2nd half and the Hamlet would almost have a 2nd. Luke Wanadio made a driving run forward and saw his shot tipped into the path of Mills who had his shot blocked off the line.
With 30 minutes left Whitehawk began to turn up the heat a deflected shot almost caused Dillon Barnes some issues but it went out for a goal kick.
Four minutes later however, the Hawks would have a golden chance to equalise. Mark Marshall was deemed to bring down an attacker in the area forcing the referee to point to the spot.
Andrew Briggs would step up and calmly dispatch his penalty into the back of the net levelling the scores with 25 minutes to play.
Just 5 minutes later and the unlikeliest of comebacks would be complet Luke Robinson broke through and unleashed an unstoppable strike into the bottom corner putting the Hawks ahead.
Kreshnic Krasniqi would almost have the south Londoners level but his header from a Wanadio corner hit the side netting.
Wanadio himself would get in on the action as his long range free kick was acrobatically tipped over the bar by Rob O'Toole in the Whitehawk goal.
It would be last chance saloon for the Hamlet as they climbed up the Hill in search of an equaliser but some fine goalkeeping from O'Toole would deny them once more as the Hamlet left the Sussex coast empty handed.

REPORT | Dartford vs Dulwich Hamlet

The Hamlet headed to Kent following our 2-2 draw with Lewes in search of 3 more valuable points.
An unchanged Hamlet side started in Kent and would almost have the lead with 3 minutes gone. Jordan Wynter knocked the ball down to Oli Lynch who saw his shot blocked by the keeper.
Two minutes later and Wanadio would almost have us ahead. Jerome Binnom-Williams played a beautiful cross-field pass which Wanadio bought down and cut inside but had his shot saved.
The first half began to quiet down but 10 minutes later Anthony Jeffrey made a driving run and unleashed a shot that went just wide of the post.
Just a minute later though and Dillon Barnes would be called into action for the first time. He made not one, not two but three vital blocks to deny Dartford the lead.
After 21 minutes though it would be Dartford who took the lead against the run of play. Samir Carruthers played the ball into Callum Jones who fired his shot into the roof of the net to put the Darts ahead.
Dartford would have the ball in the back of the net 3 minutes later but Jones strike would be ruled out for offside.
As the half time whistle approached Lynch would go close again for the Hamlet as he connected with a cross but his header went just wide.
On the stroke of half-time it would be Luke Wanadio who would fire the Hamlet deservedly level. He got the ball on the left hand side, cut in and fired his shot into the bottom corner.
It took 18 minutes for the 2nd half to fire into life and it would be Ralfi Hand who bagged his first league goal for the Hamlet. Louis Ramsay picked up a loose ball and squared it to Hand on the edge of the box who smashed his shot home before performing the perfect knee slide to celebrate.
Olly Box would go close 5 minutes later for Dartford as he broke through on goal but he fired his shot wide.
Dartford would level it against the run of play as Ramsay mis-controlled a pass allowed Box to breakthrough and put Dartford level.
Barnes would deny Dartford a winner with 5 minutes to go as both sides chased a winner.
It would finish all square in Dartford as the Hamlet picked up a 2nd 2-2 draw of the week before heading into a busy Christmas period.
