PROFILE

Jerome Binnom-Williams
A strongly built left sided defender who can play at full back or centre back, and offers a regular goalscoring threat with powerful long-range shooting from both free kicks and open play.
Born in Croydon, he began his career with Crystal Palace and made his senior debut in August 2013 against Bristol City in the Football League Cup.
Following loan spells at Forest Green Rovers, Southend United, Burton Albion and Leyton Orient, he left Palace to join Peterborough United ahead of the 2016-17 season. He then spent two seasons at Chesterfield and one each with Halifax Town and Barnet before joining Maidstone United ahead of their highly successful 2021-22 season, which ended with promotion as National League South champions.
In summer 2023 he linked up with his former Stones boss Hakan Hayrettin, who immediately appointed him as Hamlet captain.
