The ashes of Hamlet fan David Harris, a supporter for sixty years, will be laid to rest, below the turf, just behind the goal on Saturday.

The short service will take place just beyond the pitch, behind the goal, at the Dog Kennel Hill end of our Champion Hill Stadium, at ten minutes to three this coming Saturday afternoon, just before our opening Ryman League fixture with Harrow Borough.

Members of the David Harris family & some of his non-footballing friends will be present, and they shall be in the club house beforehand,should you wish to share any memories of 'Harry' with them, as many of us affectionately called him.

Supporters who wish to be present, to pay their respects, at his remains are interred below the hallowed Champion Hill turf, are requested to congregate behind the goal from quarter to three,for the short service a few minutes later.

There will then be a one minute silence immediately prior to kick off, and this will also be in memory of the legendary Dulwich Hamlet goalkeeper Dave Darvill, who also passed away in the close season, as well as another old fan, Brian Hargrave.
