Ahmeed Deen latest!
The 'Southwark News' reported this morning that he suffered a leg break at Corinthian-Casuals on Tuesday night...
Initially, it was feared, as reported in the newspaper, that he will be out for the season, but Hamlet Pitchero has just spoken to The Hamlet First Team manager Gavin Rose for the latest & he told us:
"After he was taken to hospital from the ground on Tuesday evening, we learned yesterday morning that the challenge in the first half, was a broken leg. We weren't sure at the time how seriously injured he was, but our bench all thought it was a bad challenge, though the referee clearly didn't.
Hopefully it's not quite as bad as we feared, as we are now hearing this morning that there's the possibility of it being a minute break, which will heal a lot faster. We will know more next Wednesday when the cast & boot come off for another examination by the doctors. Fingers crossed, and he can return sooner than we first thought & expected"
Best wishes to Ahmed, from all a Dulwich Hamlet, from the boardroom, through to the people who sit in the stands, & make the noise on the terraces!
