ASPIRE ACADEMY KEEP UP THE PACE AT TOP OF YOUTH ALLIANCE
Axel Garcia bagged a double & Lekan Osideka was on the scoresheet as Fulham (Sedgehill) were beaten 3-0
Despite a late switch from Rutland Walk to Sedgehill School, the Dulwich Hamlet ASPIRE Academy youngsters maintained their unbeaten run in National League Under Youth Alliance Division G with this victory, their sixth in seven games in the competition. Dulwich took the advantage in the first half as Axel Garcia and Leka Osideka found the net. However after the break Fulham roared back with the Dulwich goal withstanding immense pressure but never wilting. Then Dulwich struck again as Garcia turned and tucked a close-range effort just inside the 'keeper's near post. They had the chance to make it 4-0 from the spot soon after but the home goalie made an impressive save low down at his left-hand post to kick out the penalty. And so it finished 3-0, Dulwich remaining 6 points clear of Crystal Palace Foundation who narrowly won 3-2 away to Charlton Athletic Trust.
The ASPIRE Academy youngsters are back in Youth Alliance action in a fortnight's time when they travel to Sparrows Lane to face Charlton Athletic Trust, kickoff 2.00pm.
