Dulwich were indebted to a superb performance from debutant goalkeeper Cory Addai as they came from a goal down to record a superb win, on what had been a tough day for the club.

With Preston Edwards out injured, Corey Addai came in on loan from Coventry City and he produced a string of top class saves in a first half where the home side were well on top for long periods.

Addai had already produced a couple of good saves before Dean Inman put the home side in front in the 9th minute. He went on to make further fine saves, whilst demonstrating assured handling, as the home side dominated the first half played on a very difficult surface.

At times, it seemed that it was inevitable that all the Billericay pressure would result in a substantial lead, but with Marc Weatherstone, Rickie Hayles and Quade Taylor all having magnificent games, the defence held out and, as half time approached, The Hamlet got a foothold in the game.

With the break approaching, a sweeping move saw Tanasheh Abrahams deliver a great cross to the far post where Dipo Akinyemi got above his marker to bullet the ball past Julian in the home goal.

Half Time 1-1

The tart of the second half saw Dulwich starting to use their pace up front and Akinyemi forced Julian into a great save as he drove in off the right flank. At the other end Addai continued to thwart everything that the home side could muster.

Reise Allassani was injured as he just failed to turn home a cross from Clunis and, with the stricken striker requiring a stretcher, there was a lengthy break in play whilst he was treated.

When the teams returned to the field, the game became more even and, with the efforts of their first half taking their toll on the legs of the home team, Dulwich's pace began to stretch the home side.

With seven minutes of the original ninety remaining, Nyren Clunis picked up the ball around the halfway line and drove through the home defence before squaring to the onrushing Akinyemi to put Dulwich ahead.

BIllericay pushed hard and, with 17 minutes of added time indicated, they pushed forward to seek an equaliser but for all their efforts Addai had an answer to every question asked, with fine reflexes and assured handling of crosses.

With the match deep into stoppage time, Clunis again got away on the right and he cut inside the defender, took the ball past Julian and slotted the ball into the empty net to secure a first win in 7 for The Hamlet.

Final Score 1-3
