Charity began at home...
Which was why, back in September, on Non League Day when we had a 'Pay What You Like' match, we chose the Mayor of Southwark's favourite charities
And he came back to Champion Hill on Saturday to be presented with a cheque for £6,100!
The chosen charities by the Mayor, Councillor Sunil Chopra, for his year of office are both working with homeless people.
One is is UK Homes 4 Heroes; the other the Robes Project.
Thanks to Mayor for taking time out, with this being a very busy time of year for him, to attend.
He personally thanked all of the fans at Dulwich Hamlet, in fact everyone at our Club, for choosing his charity work to be the beneficiaries on 'Non League Day', and we as a Club thank all of you who gave so generously at the turnstiles on the day.
