Charlie Penny to extend loan stay with Merstham FC

Striker Charlie Penny, who moved to fellow Premier side Merstham on a three month loan deal in October last year, will remain with the Moatsiders.

Former Millwall youngster Penny joined Dulwich Hamlet during the summer from Welling but found his game time limited with competition from Jacob Erskine and Callum Willock up front.

The original loan deal saw Penny make the move to Merstham in October 2015 and the youngster make an instant impact coming on as a 63rd minute substitute to bag a brace as Merstham grabbed a 3-1 win away to VCD Athletic.

Since then Penny has scored a number of key goals for Merstham including a pair at home to title challenging Tonbridge Angels in an exciting 2-2.
