CRAY WANDERERS 0-6 DULWICH HAMLET

CRAY WANDERERS 0-6 DULWICH HAMLET

Dulwich swept aside bottom of the table Cray Wanderers and climbed to second in the table despite losing keeper Phil Wilson at half-time.

Inspired by a hat trick from Erhun Oztumer The Hamlet swept aside Cray Wanderers with ease.

It was Cray who had the first chance in the 3rd minute as Phil Wilson made a good low stop from an Aaron Rhule shot. However, Dulwich carved out their first chance in the 6tb minute as Nathaniel Pinney released Erhun Oztumer in behind the Cray defence but he shot wide. Within a minute both Nyren Clunis and Xavier Vidal had goalbound shots blocked.

Dulwich took the lead in the 11th minute as Erhun Oztumer found Nyren Clunis in space and his shot deflected off Cray full back Nathan Simpson and past Wanderers keeper Charlie Hinbury.

Erhun Oztumer forced a good save from Hinbury before Cray came close to an equaliser during a scramble following a corner: the ball being hacked off the line.

On 19 minutes Dulwich doubled their advantage as Nyren Clunis comprehensively beat full back Simpson and his cross found Erhun Oztumer who buried his right footed shot.

The rest of the half was a scrappy affair and Cray had a number of chances from headers at set pieces that failed to trouble Phil Wilson whist at the other end Xavier Vidal shaved the post with a rasping drive from 20 yards.

Half Time 0-2

Dulwich fans would have viewed the second half with some trepidation as keeper Phi Wison failed to reappear and instead centre back Lewis Gonsalves donned the gloves.

However, Dulwich dominance was almost total after half time and Gonsalves was not called into serious action. Within a minute Nathaniel Pinney almost charged down a Hinbury clearance and on 48 minutes a Nyren Clunis shot beat the keeper but came back off the inside of the post.

The third goal arrived on 50 minutes as Nyren Clunis cut in from the right and was tripped by Simpson. Whilst he stumbled and did not go down the chance had gone and the referee pointed to the spot. Erhun Oztumer stepped up and converted the penalty with ease.

Three minutes later a superb long ball out of defence from Ahmed Deen found Ellis Green who found Nathaniel Pinney in the edge of the box but his rising drive just cleared the bar.

The fourth goal arrived on 64 minutes as an Ellis Green cross evaded the keeper was turned into his own goal by Josh Oyinsan under pressure from Marc-Anthony Okoye.

Goal number five arrived on 71 minutes and followed a bad foul on Mathieu Boyer by Simpson for which he was cautioned. From wide on the right, Erhun Oztumer delivered set free kick that beat the keeper at his far post to complete his second hat- trick of tbe season.

Three minutes later goal number six arrived as a Kershaney Samuels shot from the edge of the box slipped under the keeper's dive.

With five minutes remaining it seemed certain that Oztumer would add a seventh as he was sent clear but a bobble off tbd pitch saw him blaze over.
