CRYSTAL PALACE DEVELOPMENT SQUAD GAME POSTPONED
The young Eagles scheduled Under 23 Professional Development League game this coming Monday against Bristol City is off.
Crystal Palace were scheduled to take on their counterparts from Bristol City that afternoon but this has now been put back until later in the season. A date of Bank Holiday Monday May 1st (Kick-off 1pm) has been pencilled in although this may change during the intervening months as that day is also the date for the Ryman League Premier Division Play Off Final.
The postponement may well have its compensations for Dulwich Hamlet fans looking to gauge Shawn McCoulsky’s progression since the ASPIRE Academy graduate left to join the Robins in November 2015. The former Dulwich Hamlet striker recently joined National League side Torquay United on a two-month loan deal having been in red hot form for City’s Under 23 Development squad scoring regularly for them including a hat trick against Colchester United in the Professional Development League. Recently he made his Bristol City debut in the EFL Cup coming on as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat by Hull City at Ashton Gate. McCoulsky also spent time on loan at Weston-Super-Mare where he bagged seven goals in a dozen appearances for National League South club.
