CRYSTAL PALACE UNDER 21s DEVELOPMENT SQUAD TAKE ON BARNSLEY THIS AFTERNOON AT CHAMPION HILL
This afternoon Crystal Palace's development squad will open their home season in the U21 Professional Development League against Barnsley here
The young Eagles, who recently faced Dulwich Hamlet in a preseason friendly, go into today’s game on the back of a 1-0 win away to Nottingham Forest in their opening game of the campaign. That victory at the City Ground came courtesy of Michael Phillips' late winner ten minutes from time, the Eaglets squad boosted by The Eagles by including the likes of Steve Mandanda, Yohan Cabaye, James Tomkins and Joe Ledley.
Today’s game is the first of nine games that Crystal Palace will play at Champion Hill, which will be sharing hosting duties of all the club's home league matches with Selhurst Park.
The Tykes are the first visitors on Monday 22nd August for a 1pm kick-off. Tickets are only available to purchase on the turnstiles on the day of the game, priced at £4 for adults with children under 13 free.
