Cup fever!

Cup fever!

The magic of the Cup returns to Champion Hill tonight for our First Qualifying Round replay with Godalming Town, kick off 7.45pm.

An intriguing tie up north, away to Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division outfit Arlesey Town up in deepest Bedfordshire awaits the victors.

It promises to be a pulsating clash this evening, following on from the excitement of the first game that ended all square on Sunday afternoon, in baking conditions down in Surrey.

Everything to play for, including the not insubstantial prize money of £3,000 for the team that gets the result at Champion Hill. A trek that The G's will not relish as, by their own admission, Dulwich: "took control of the first half, and caused the Gs defence more problems than they’ve encountered this season so far".

It's now fourteen years since The Hamlet last reached the First round Proper & a massive sixty four seasons from when we last took on Football League opposition. The odds are stacked against us to do so again, but have the faith & be there tonight to say you were there early doors & not just to jump on the bandwagon later on!

It's only England versus Ukraine on the box at home,& you can keep abreast of that in the Dulwich Hamlet clubhouse tonight. On Sunday we bolstered the Godalming crowd with around eighty Hamlet fans having made the trip, so come along tonight to catch part two!

Season tickets are NOT valid tonight, as under Cup regulations everyone must pay on the gate. It's £9 for adults; £4 concessions, & FREE for children under 12, with a paying adult accompanying them. The bar will be open for pre & post match drinks, with the football on the telly as a back drop all evening. Hot & cold drinks, as well as snacks are on sale from the tea bar at the bottom of the stand, as you come through the turnstiles, ahead of you...so you will be fed & watered if you're coming straight from work.

And there must be a result on the night, so if scores are level there will be extra time, then a penalty shoot out, if neccessary.

The car park is free tonight, as it is on all matchdays, so ignore the 'pay & display' signs. Also, if you have the right change at the gate it helps speed up the queues, as well as putting a smile on the face of Griff the gateman!

See you all this evening...come on Dulwich!
