Double digit Dulwich as Borough blasted
The goals were flying in at Rutland Walk this morning as the Aspire Academy coached Under 18s rattled TEN goals past Greenwich Borough.
With the latest graduate from the ASPIRE Academy, Diallang Jaiyesimi, taking time out from training at Norwich City and watching on the sidelines his former teammates put on a rampant display as bottom club Greenwich Borough were shown no mercy.
Leading the way with a hat trick was Brian Testolin whilst Kladji Cani and Ade Batula bagged a brace a-piece. Also finding the net were Tyreece Spinks, Abdul Lyoubi and Kiki Oshilaja.
The result keeps Dulwich Hamlet two points clear of Bromley who moved into second spot after winning a ding-dong battle with Welling to overleap their Kentish rivals.
The under 16s were without a game after their match with Phoenix Sports was postponed due to the state of the pitch. Meanwhile there were plenty of goals in the Under 14s match with Meridian VP, unfortunately the majority at the wrong end as Dulwich Hamlet went down 7-1 at home. The result means the Under 14s remain bottom of their division still looking for their first points of the season.
Over in the South East London & Kent Youth Football League (SELKent) Aspire Dulwich Hamlet Under 12s drew 1-1 away to Doklands to leave them in 7th spot in the Under 12B West Division.
