DULWICH DATE WITH FAVERSHAM FIXED - HALF PRICE ADMISSION ON THE NIGHT

With Faversham Town overturning Hastings United on Tuesday night in dramatic fashion at Salters Lane, Dulwich now know their opponents.

This third round tie in the Ryman League Cup, sponsored by Robert Dyas for the Alan Turvey Trophy has now been scheduled for Tuesday 13th December to be played at Champion Hill with a 7.45pm kickoff. Faversham Town have kindly agreed to half-price entry on the night. This also means that Dulwich's previously rearranged trip to Kingstonian has been put back to Monday 19th December, kickoff 7.45pm.

The Lilywhites booked their place in this stage of the competition after defeating Hastings United earlier this week, winning at the last-gasp after conceding with two minutes of normal time remaining only to bag an equaliser in the second minute as Matt Bourne headed home a corner. That meant the two teams would have to settle matters with kicks from the penalty mark, a shootout that saw both Faversham and Hastings United ahead before the tie was settled. 17 kicks had been taken when Luke Harvey stepped up to the mark, Arrows' 'keeper Ryan Nicholls getting a hand to the ball but unable to keep it out of the net.

Ironically Dulwich Hamlet entertained Faversham Town at the same stage of the Alan Turvey Trophy last year. Then it was the Lilywhites that triumphed at Champion Hill, taking the lead inside 20 seconds as Renford Tenuye capitalised on a Mitchell Nelson error to run through and score. Dulwich levelled when Jordan Hibbert's wind-assisted cross deceived the Faversham 'keeper but the visitors were swiftly back in front when Tenuye's deft header from a left wing cross beat Oshane Brown for the winner.
