Dulwich Hamlet 1-0 Thamesmead Town
It was perhaps fitting that this game was settled by a 48th minute own goal as Dulwich laboured for the entire 90 minutes.
Thamesmead were generally on top although it was late in the game before they consistently extended Oshane Brown in the home goal; and when they did they found him in fine form.
The first half was almost devoid of goalmouth action with Lewis Gonsalves producing an air shot from a corner and the most accurate pass coming from Oshane Brown as he almost sent a perfect long ball to Cherno Mendy as he cleared a poor back pass.
The visitors almost took the lead as Brown had to show good refuses to keep out a reflection off Michael Kamara. Rashid Kamara had a shot deflected over for Thamesmead after a positive run.
Half Time 0-0
The crucial goal arrived 3 minutes after the break as a sliced defensive clearance somehow found its way into the net.
Other than that, Thamesmead keeper Mansanet was untroubled although he made a mess of collecting the ball on the edge of the box and was cautioned for handling as Shawn McCoulsky looked to take advantage.
Nyren Clunis just failed to pick out McCoulsky after a fine run down the right flank 13 minutes from time but it was the visitors who finished on top. Brown was forced to save well from Rashid Kamara with 2 minutes remaining and again in stoppage time before the same player shot wide with the final chance.
Full Time 1-0
