In front of a bumper crowd of 2158, Dulwich missed enough opportunities to have comfortable won the game, starting as early as the 2nd minute when Reise Allassani, who had a torrid time in front of goal, fired over. The same player wasted another chance in the 6th minute, shooting wide after he had created space to get his shot away some 25 yarsd out.
Whilst Enfield were always neat in possession, their main threat came frrom the runs of right back Parcell, although Preston Edwards went untroubled as chances came and went at the other end .
Allassani was cynically fouled but Ashley Carew could only fire his free kick straight at the wall, although this was just a prelude to his free kick that gave Dulwich the lead in the second half.
Nathan Green headed wide and Nyren Clunis had an effort deflected over the bar, whilst Nathan Ferguson wasted a good chance due to hesitation. Allassani then failed to get on to a through ball, being late setting off as he thought he was offide. As a result Wright just got out in time to thwart him.
Allassani wasted a further chnce when he fired over after good work from Clunis had played him in behind the defence and Clunis himself wasted a one on one right at the end of the half.
Half Time 0-0
The scond half started evenly, and the first real chance did not arrive until the 57th minute when Michael O|novwigun contrived to fail to put the ball in the net from inches out, following a well worked corner routine.
A good run from Campbell caused problems for the right side of the Dulwich defence and, when the Dulwich defence failed to get the ball clear, Blake saw his header come back off the crossbar.
Dulwich grabbed a 63rd minute lead when Ashley Carew curled in an exquisite free kick from 25 yards. However, the lead was lost in the 78th minute when an ambitious pass from Ashley Carew was intercepted and, when the ball fell to Sam Youngs who fired past Edwards via a deflection.
The Hamlet could have gone back in front in the 80th minute but Reise Allassani wasted a chance created by a great cross by Clunis and the same player also saw another effort blocked. For Enfield Town, Campbell wasted an opportunity to win the game.
The final chance saw Wright push aside an effort from Muhammadu Faal, ,diving low to his right to push it wide.
