Dulwich lost their 100% home record to a well organised Faversham side who secured the point they set out to obtain from the start.

Dulwich were held to a 1-1 draw by Faversham Town side who set out to get a point and left with that achieved.

Dulwich dominated possession and territory almost from the start but chances were few and far between in the first half.

However immediately after half time Frankie Sawyer struck with a shot from the edge of the area following a 12 man passing move.

The game appeared to turn in favour of the home side when a second dangerous challenge from Faversham centre back James Peacock led to his dismissal.

However, Faversham were more adventurous when down to 10 men and equalised when Luke Hickie slipped on the half way line and the ball was transferred to the left side where nobody had tracked full back Jamie Maxted. He took one touch before unleashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner beyond Phil Wilson's dive.

Despite some intricate passing moves all that Dulwich could carve out was a shot that flashed just wide from Frankie Sawyer and a run from Ellis Green that ended with him tumbling in the box as he took on the full back. The appeals for a penalty fell on deaf ears.

So Dulwich now turn their attentions to Tuesday night's home game with Hythe Town in which they will likely have to do without Josh Turner who damaged his ankle in the first half - Peter Adeniyi moving to centre half.
