Dulwich Hamlet 2-0 Thamesmead Town
Two goals in the opening 20 minutes from Calum Willock gave Dulwich a comfortable victory in the League Cup.
A much changed Hamlet side ran out comfortable winners in this League Cup tie. There was a first start for Dialing Jaiyesmini at right back and it was good to see Dean Lodge get a full start for over a season.
Ethan Pinnock headed wide from an early corner and Thamesmead also had a chance as Addae seized on a Jarrett mistake but shot straight at Wilson..
Dulwich took a 5th minute lead as Lodge played a ball over the top and Willock casually rounded the keeper and rolled the ball into an empty net.
The second goal arrived in the 19th minute. This time Charlie Penny got in behind the defence on the Dulwich right and drew the keeper before rolling the ball to Willock.
Dulwich had a scare on the half hour when Ethan Pinnock had to head off the line in a rare incisive Thamesmead break.
Half Time 2-0
The second half never really got going although Addae should have done better when he was left with just Wilson to beat but shot wide.
Dean Lodge headed on to the bar after Erskine had an effort blocked but despite some alarms there were no further good chances for either side
