DULWICH HAMLET 2-2 TOOTING & MITCHAM UTD
Dulwich dropped two points in a typically competitive local derby against their fiercest rivals in front of a crowd of almost 650.
The Hamlet opened the game quickly establishing domination and were unlucky when a Kevin James shot beat keeper Darren Behcet all ends uop but crashed against the bar. Erhun Oztumer then came close to converting a low Nyren Clunis cross before after good work down the left by Ryan James and Daniel Carr the ball fell to Erhun Oztumer to slam Dulich in front on 30 minutes
However by half time they were behind as two free kicks were poorly defended> both were struck by Dominic Vose with the first beating Phil Wilson and the second being converted on the rebound.
The second half was only into its fourth minute when Daniel Carr struck a fierce shot that beat keeper Behcet inside his near post to level matters.
The game swung from end to end with Nyren Clunis being thwarted by a fine save as he beat left back Nathan Simpson for the umpteenth time, although he perhaps should have rolled the ball to the unmarked Carr. Another fine stop from Behcet and a point blank block at the other end from Phil Wilson ensured there was no more score.
