The Line up may have been the same as for Tuesday's victory over Enfield Town but the performance bore no similarity.
Dulwich began brightly enough and a Nathan Green cross in the 7th minute just evaded Daniel Carr and Nyren Clunis fired wide at the far post but should have been behind 2 minutes later.
A quick break out resulted in a corner which Preston Edwards misjudged and it was headed towards goal and flicked home with his head by Matt Blake. The original header was certainly going in but Blake was stood in an offside position and the assistant's flag rescued The Hamlet.
Nyren Clunis nearly took advantage of a mix up between Eyre in the visitors goal and his right back,Ollie Brown as both dithered over a long ball from Michael Chambers.
Ashley Carew had an effort saved but Leiston were always threatening and it was they who took the lead through the dangerous Joe Francis. Receiving the ball wide on the Dulwich left, he was allowed to saunter inside without any resistance and fire a shot into the far corner of the goal.
Leiston should have doubled their lead 5 minutes later when another corner was met by theunmarked Joe Jefford but his header hit the bar.
With half time approaching, it took a Matt Drage clearance off the line after Francis again caused confusion in the home defence.
Half Time 0-1
Dulwich came out with more purpose at the start of the second half with Gavin Tomlin to the forefront. Within a minute, his cross led to Daniel Carr firing wide before he brought the scores level and minute later.
Roman Michael-Percil, who had replaced Ashley Carew at the interval, was brought down just outside the area and Tomlin lifted his free kick over the wall and past Eyre.
Dulwich then took a 51 st minute lead when Tomlin's corner was cleared back to him and Michael Chambers forgot on the end of the resulting cross.
However, that was as good as it got as Leiston were on level terms just four minutes later. Again Francis waltzed past some flimsy defending and his low pull back was smashed home by Gareth Heath.
Dulwich rallied briefly as a Tomlin corner evaded everybody, Carr was crowded out and Beaney fired over after Eyre cleared straight to him. However, the Dulwich defence looked fragile and more poor defending left Francis to touch the ball home to put the visitors in front again.
With 12 minutes left they made the game safe when a quick break saw Michael Chambers unable to win the ball cleanly and it was transferred to Heathrow who had time and space to puck his spot.
