DULWICH HAMLET 3-0 WALTON & HERSHAM
Dulwich got back to winning ways with a comfortable win over Walton & Hersham.
It took only 6 minutes for Dulwich to go in front as the ball bounced around the box until Erhun Öztümer took possession and as he sidestepped a defender he was brought down. Daniel Carr converted with ease from the spot.
Walton had a couple of long range attempts that didn't cause Phil Wilson any problems and it always seemed only a matter of time before a second goal would arrive. It duly did on 32 minutes as a Kevin James free kick from the right was met by a bullet header from Daniel Carr that the keeper touched on to the bar but Ryan James converted from close range.
The second half followed a similar pattern as Dulwich controlled the game without really looking totally convincing. However on 59 minutes goal number three arrived as Luke Hickie and Nyren Clunis combined down the right before a shot from Daniel Carr was parried by the keeper into the path of Ellis Green who duly slammed it home.
Walton& Hersham threatened sporadically but of wasn't until 5 minutes from time that Phil Wilson had to make a save and from the follow up Lewis Gonsalves blocked a shot from Jaymo Ellis. The game finished with Daniel Carr blazing over as he stretched to meet a cross from Abdul Mansaray.
