Gavin Rose named an unchanged starting line up from that which drew at Leatherhead on Saturday and was rewarded with an ultimately comfortable victory.

Dulwich threatened early as Nathan Green headed just wide, whilst Nyren Clunis also wasted a good opportunity when he sliced horribly wide when well placed.

Harlow first threatened when an Ashley Carew mistake presented the ball to the dangerous Alex Reed but Preston Edwards was able to cut out any danger.

Nyren Clunis missed his kick from an Ibra Sekajja cross and Dumebi Dumaka had an effort blocked as The Hamlet sought the rarity of getting the first goal.

After a bright opening quarter of an hour, the game entered a long lull where little of any note happened; both sides guilty of giving away possession cheaply leaving the game mired in midfield.

However, the deadlock was broken in the 35th minute. Kenny Beaney won the ball and passed to Nyren Clunis. His cross from the right reached Ibra Sekajja coming in off the back post and he thumped it past Thompson in the visitors’ goal.

Half Time 1-0

Harlow came out for the second half with renewed vigour and forced Dulwich back. A series of set pieces gave them the opportunity to put pressure on the Dulwich defence and they almost levelled in the 49th minute. A corner was only cleared to the edge of the box where it was met by a first time shot from Gordon that Kenny Beaney cleared off the line.

Dulwich were unable to create anything of note until just past the hour. Nyren Clunis got away on the right, his low cross was touched into the path of Ibra Sekajja but Thompson blocked his effort from point blank range.

Harlow then went close as a free kick from the Dulwich right was headed inches wide by Ibrahima Sonko.

The action then switched to the other end where a Dumebi Dumaka flick on left Nyren Clunis in space; his effort being blocked for a corner. From the resultant corner Matt Drage saw his effort blocked.

Dulwich finally got the cushion of a second goal with 16 minutes remaining. Roman Michael-Percil collected the ball on the left and, having jinked in to the box, he was taken to ground by an untidy challenge from Small. Ashley Carew's penalty gave Thompson no chance.

Two minutes later Dulwich had a third. A quick break out led by Roman Michael-Percil saw him set up Ibra Sekajja. His shot was provably heading out for a throw in but the ball ran kindly to Nyren Clunis who slammed it past Thompson.

Roman Michael-Percil then had a chance to score himself but his effort was too high.

Harlow then created a couple of opportunities; Reed curling an effort just wide and then being thwarted by Edwards as he was left one on one with the Dulwich keeper.

Howe very, they did pull a goal back in the final minute of stoppage time when Reed was adjudged to have been clipped and he confidently converted from the spot.

Final Score 3-1
