Having fallen behind right on half time Dulwich substitute Yana Boakye-Yiadom produced an equaliser 11 minutes from time. He then scored again in the last minute of the game and in stoppage time to secure a place in the second qualifying round draw.

Dulwich took a long time to get into the game. In fact, they could have been either a goal or man down in the opening minute when Billy Medlock looked to get behind Rickie Hayles and went tumbling under the Dulwich defender's challenge. The referee saw no offence committed.

Dulwich did create a decent chance in the 7th minute when Kenny Beaney found Nathan Ferguson breaking into the penalty area, but Hastings keeper Josh Pelling blocked his poked effort.

However, that was the last seen of the home side as an attacking threat for some time as the hard working visitors seized on sloppy passes and easily contained the home side.

Dulwich did go close midway through the half when Ibrahim Kargbo and Dumebi Dumaka linked but the former placed his effort just wide.

Medlock was a real thorn in the side of the Dulwich defence as he got through an immense amount of work harrying defenders and chasing every ball, although he will feel he should have done better when shooting straight at Preston Edwards.

Eventually, the visitors took a deserved lead right on half time. First Preston Edwards produced a brilliant save from a long range effort from Sam Beale, then from the resulting corner Ollie Rowe seized on hesitant defending to poke the ball over the line.

Half Time 0-1

The second half didnt start any more promisingly with Dumebi Dumaka shooting wide and then unable to turn quickly enough to take advantage of a Nyren Clunis cross that landed at his feet. Dumaka also placed a header over the top of the bar.

Pelling was finally forced into a save when he did well to push an Ashley Carew effort wide after the Dulwich substitute had created space for a shot from the edge of the box.

The I productions of Muhammadu Faal and Nana Boakye-Yiadom from the bench saw them combine to bring Dulwich level on 79 minutes. Faal made space for a shot that was too powerful for Pelling to hold and Boakye-Yiadom was on hand to bury the rebound.

Hastings were still causing Dulwich problems and couldn't make the most of two free kicks close to the edge of the penalty are, together with a swift counter attack.

With the game in the final minute, The Hamlet got their noses in front. Good work from Kenny Beaney on the right saw him slip the ball to Boakye-Yiadom who fired across Pelling into the far corner to give Dulwich the lead.

With a minute of stoppage time played, Boakye-Yiadom completed his hat trick when the ball fell to him from a rebound as he tried to pass to Faal and he advanced before thumping the ball past Pelling to give the score a flattering look.

Final Score 3-1
