DULWICH HAMLET 3-1 SITTINGBOURNE
A dominant first half performance secured an emphatic win for The Hamlet blotted only by an injury time consolation goal for Sittingbourne.
Dulwich were in front with only 54 seconds on the clock as Nyren Clunis received the ball on the edge of the box and rifled a shot past keeper Adam Molloy. The lead was doubled in the ninth minute as Xavier Vidal unleashed a dipping shot from 25 yards that pitched in front of the keeper and nestled in the corner of the net.
After this early onslaught Dulwich remained in the ascendany with both Daniel Carr and Erhun Oztumer going close before right on half time Nyren Clunis turned sharply just inside the box and hit a right footed shot home.
Whilst there were no further goals for The Hamlet in the second half it was not for want of chances as Molloy foiled Oztumer and Carr again and an effort from new signing Connor French was scrambled away from goal. Erhun Oztumer beat the keeper all ends up but his shot hit the post before Sittingbourne capitalised on slack defending with a goal from substiute Hicham Akhazzan in time added on.
