Dulwich stretched their unbeaten run to 8 games with an ultimately comfortable victory.

Dulwich made one change from Saturday's starting line-up, with Ashley Carew nursing a slight muscle injury that meant he reverted to the bench, with Ibrahim Kargbo brought into the starting XI.

Staines were on top from the start and an early low cross from Chinua Cole was fumbled by Preston Edwards but he recovered to grasp the loose ball. The Hamlet keeper then had to be quick off his line to thwart Adrian Clifton.

The first threat from a disjointed Hamlet came when Dumebi Dumaka fired over. This seemed to galvanise the home side and, a minute later, Ibra Sekajja found Vas Karagiannis but Turner in the Staines goal went full length to push his shot wide.

Dulwich took the lead in the 21st minute with a fine finish from Dumebi Dumaka who fired past Turner's right hand after Vas Karagiannis had slipped a pass through the Staines defence.

However, the lead lasted just three minutes and the equaliser came from a quick break. Kenny Beaney lost the ball 25 yards from the Staines goal, from which the visitors launched a swift attack that saw Mohamed Bettamer crash an unstoppable effort home from 18 yards, via the underside of the bar.

The equalising goal seemed to spark the home side into life. Dumaka delivered a low cross from the right that evaded the incoming Ibra Sekajja and a spectacular overhead kick from Karagiannis was straight into Turner's midriff.

Karagiannis was foiled again following a flowing move that started with Preston Edwards rolling the ball to Matt Drage. He carried it forward unchallenged and slipped a pass through the defence to Karagiannis. However, Turner was able to save low to his right.

Dulwich should have gone back in front just past the half hour as a Karagiannis free kick was delivered into the 6 yard box but somehow Michael Chambers managed to prod the ball across goal when he seemed certain to score.

However, Staines were always dangerous in attack and a sloppy throw in presented the ball to Brewer but he fired over whilst, for Dulwich, Dumaka fired just wide.

With three minutes to half time, Dulwich had to desperately defend a corner with a couple of efforts blocked by defenders.

Half Time 1-1

Gavin Rose made a change prior to the start of the second half with Sanchez Ming replacing Ibra Sekajja and releasing Nyren Clunis to move forward.

The second half saw Staines come close to taking the lead within seconds of the restart with an effort from Clifton that struck the bar following fine play from Bettamer.

However, it was Dulwich who quickly got back on top. Nyren Clunis fired just wide before The Hamlet retook the lead in the 54tn minute. A long ball forward saw Dumebi Dumaka flick the ball into the path of Vas Karagiannis. He was fouled by a clumsy challenge on the right edge of the box and stepped up to convert the resultant penalty.

Staines could have pulled level again just two minutes later. A free kick to the far post found Clifton unmarked but he headed tamely wide.

Nathan Green then blazed wide when well placed after great link up play between Nyren Clunis and Gavin Tomlin had left him in space in the penalty area. Tomlin then shot wide after a tenacious tackle from Kenny Beaney had transferred the ball to him.

Staines task was made much harder with the 74th minute dismissal of their captain Tommy Brewer after an aerial challenge with Kenny Beaney that saw the Dulwich captain have to be replaced and Brewer receive a second yellow card.

Dulwich wrapped up the points in the 82nd minute when Gavin Tomlin crossed from the right and Nyren Clunis took advantage of hesitant defending to score.

With time almost up, Dulwich were awarded a rather soft looking penalty when Gavin Tomlin went to ground under a challenge but this time Ashley Carew's spot kick was saved by Turner.

Final Score 3-1
