Dulwich Hamlet Make Christmas Delivery
A group of players visited the children's ward at King's College Hospital this week
This week, players from Dulwich Hamlet FC visited the children’s ward at King’s College Hospital.
Earlier in the month, we raised nearly £300 as part of our toy appeal for King’s College Hospital. This money was spent purchasing toys from their Christmas wish list.
On Monday players, from both our men’s and women’s’ teams, visited the hospital to hand out the gifts.
Quade Taylor, Nyren Clunis, Raky Arran and Kiki Marino were also able to spread some pink and blue festive spirit by handing out scarves, kindly donated by the Supporters’ Trust, to children and families on the ward.
They had the pleasure of meeting some inspiring children who have all been invited to attend a match at Champion Hill, as our guests, once they feel better.
A massive thank you to everyone who donated towards this scheme and helped make it possible.
During our visit, we were blown away by the fantastic dedication and commitment of the staff at the hospital. Thank you to them for being so welcoming and for all the fantastic work they do!
A very merry pink and blue Christmas to you all!
