Dulwich Hamlet Silent Auction for WildHearts

Dulwich Hamlet Silent Auction for WildHearts

On a huge day for the club, help one of our own raise some money

Whilst injury has frustratingly prevented him from featuring on the pitch in recent weeks, striker Dumebi Dumaka has been busy off it by helping out with some fundraising.

When he isn’t wearing pink and blue at Champion Hill, DD works at Barclays’ head office in Canary Wharf, and during the month of February, him and members of his team have been asked to work with WildHearts, which helps to launch companies that deliver entrepreneurship education and microfinance in the UK and abroad. Wildhearts have undertaken a one month Micro-Tyco initiative, which aims to use entrepreneurship to turn £1 seed capital into as much money as possible, with 100% of the money generated going to funding micro-loans poor entrepreneurs in the developing world, where these recipients can in turn use enterprise to repay these loans. This gives many financially excluded people an access to banking.

DD has decided to look towards the club as a means to help raise money and has planned a silent auction with the wish to engage as many fans as possible, which will be running on both Twitter, and outside by the Main Stand at Champion Hill on Saturday during the Macclesfield Town match, and may also be extended to the Leatherhead game on Tuesday night, should we not be involved in a Trophy replay.

The items up for auction are as follows:

1. 1x Signed Dulwich Hamlet jersey
2. 2x Family Season Ticket
3. 1x Pack of 10 Match day tickets for you and friends
4. 1x match sponsorship which will give you 5 guests at a game plus Boardroom hospitality and seats in Directors Box
5. 2x Match ball sponsorships which will give you 2 guests at a game plus Boardroom hospitality and seats in Directors Box

Fans can put in their bid via Twitter, simply by sending a direct message to the club’s official account, @DulwichHamletFC, stating which of the items are being bidded on and for how much, or by visiting the stand outside, bidders must put their name, amount and email address on a bit of paper and in the provided envelopes.

BIDS WILL CLOSE ON TWITTER AT 5PM ON WEDNESDAY. Once the deadline passes DD will send a JustGiving link to each of the respective winners. So please support the cause and help out one of our stars!
