Dulwich Hamlet support Crisis collection
The club will be collecting for homelessness charity Crisis this Christmas
In addition to our toy collection, Dulwich Hamlet FC will also be supporting the Crisis at Christmas scheme.
Crisis are a homelessness charity. They work directly with thousands of homeless people every year. They provide vital help so that people can rebuild their lives and are supported out of homelessness for good. They offer one to one support, advice and courses for homeless people in 12 areas across England, Scotland and Wales. How they help someone depends on their individual needs and situation. It could be with finding a home and settling in, getting new skills and finding a job, or help with their health and wellbeing.
In support of this Crisis we will be collecting the following things:
• Biscuits
• Crisps and savoury snacks (ideally individual portions)
• Chocolate and confectionery (ideally individual portions)
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant (roll-on; no aerosols please)
• Shaving Foam
• Mouthwash (no alcohol)
In addition, our local Crisis at Christmas centre has specifically asked for:
• Men’s underwear (medium and large)
• Warm Socks
• Travel sized toiletries
• Men’s trainers in good condition
All food and drink items must have a ‘use by’ or ‘best before’ date extending past 31 January 2020.
There will be a collection point at our home game against Dartford on 07/12/19. There will also be a collection point in the DHFC bar during the following week up to and including Tuesday 17th December 2019.
