FA Youth Cup opponents now known

Dulwich Hamlet's Under 18s had to wait 24 hours before their next opponent was confirmed but now they know - its Met Police.

With the First Round Proper drawn prior to Wednesday night's 3-1 over Bromley, Dulwich Hamlet knew they would be travelling in the First Round Proper of the competition. However with possible opponents, Met Police and Folkestone Invicta not due to play until last night (Thursday) the Dulwich youngsters had to wait a while to find whether they would be making the trip across town to Imber Court or preparing for a long night out on the Kent coast once more.

In the end it proved tight with a penalty from Josh Greenleaf settling in favour of the Met's young cadets. The tie is scheduled to be played in a fortnight's time in the week commencing Monday 2nd November. When a date and time is confirmed this will be announced here.
