Fancy Volunteering For The Hamlet?

Fancy Volunteering For The Hamlet?

Matchday, community, media and maintenance opportunities at Champion Hill

As is the case with every non-league club up and down the country, for many years we have had a small team of dedicated fans who have worked tirelessly to ensure the club's success and survival in East Dulwich.

We are now looking for more fans willing to get involved in the running of the club, and who have the skills and ability to commit time to continue making our club sustainable and an asset to the local community.

Volunteering for DHFC is a perfect way to combine your favourite sport with community work. It can give you the opportunity to develop skills within communications, events, campaigning and football. It is also a great chance to be part of a fun, open-minded and caring group of people who love football and supporting the local community.

What are the current roles available?

Matchdays

We have a number of roles available from welcoming fans at the turnstiles, stewarding, selling 50/50 tickets, selling match day programmes and helping to clear up after the matches.

Community and Campaigning

This sub-committee is responsible for delivering our community and campaigning goals, through engagement with external events and partners and helping to develop and engage within our local community, including local schools and businesses.

Media

We have roles available that are responsible for delivering our communications strategy, and therefore active throughout the entire year. It is important to have a dedicated group of volunteers who work within this group to achieve our aims of financial sustainability and ensure we work smoothly as an organisation.

Both our men's and women's sides are always looking to increase their pool of quality videographers, content editors and writers, and social media handlers.

Ground maintenance

Due to our dilapidated ground, we are forever having to work on maintaining the ground and stadium. and we are keen to hear from fans who can offer their trade skills and be added to our pool of tradespeople who can help us throughout the year.
