Fish flounder against Hamlet youngsters
It was another good win for our ASPIRE Academy coached Youth Team this morning, in an all-Southwark derby
The Hamlet boys kept up their Under Eighteen championship challenge in the Kent Youth League North Division this morning, in a match played at the main Champion Hill Stadium.
Kameiko Pope-Cambell led the way, with a hat-trick, as the Pink & Blues ran out comfortable victors by five goals to one. Also on the scoresheet were Albert Akinremi and Cave. (Sorry, I wasn't told his first name)
With two fixtures left it's top of the table Dulwich who remain in the driving seat, with two BIG matches remaining.
Next Sunday we are away to Bromley, who are in fifth position, on 24 points, but have only played nine games! We are currently top of the pile on 47. They go to Dartford tomorrow night, having won at West Wickham this morning, and our next match is away to them, at Sydenham High School for Girls sportsground, by Lower Sydenham Station, on Worsley Bridge Road.
We then have a long wait for other results, before we are scheduled to take on Greenwich Borough, on Sunday 17th May. They are currently in second spot, eleven points behind us, with three matches in hand; and next Sunday they travel to third placed Welling United.
